Basketball training starts back this Thursday (1st Sept) All years are welcome and it will run from 4.15 to 5.30pm in the Games hall. Please bring suitable sports clothing and a water bottle.

Students who may be interested in seeing Jack and the Beanstalk at the King's Theatre in Edinburgh on Tuesday 29 November 2016, should speak with Mr Dempster over the next few days.  Currently there are spaces on this Business Education excursion which are now available to other students. 

The total cost will be £18 including coach and tickets.  Departing 5.30 pm and returning 10 pm.  Always a great evening!

All pupils in the new S2-S4 are invited to come and collect any left jotter, folders and other work from Miss McPhee (M5). If you would like your work please come and collect it by Wednesday 31st August at the very latest. After this date it will be recycled.

Are you interested in the work of the United Nations? Are you interested in debating? Edinburgh University are running a introductory Model-UN conference on Saturday 15th October which Knox pupils are invited to. This would be particularly beneficial to Modern Studies or RMPS students but is open to everyone. It would also be a great thing to put on your CV or UCAS application. If you are interested please attend a short meeting in Ms Brannigan's room (RME 1) on Thursday 25th August at break time. Thanks. 

The Green Team will be starting it's second year here at Knox and we're looking for new members to help promote recycling and environmentalism in the school. All are welcome to join! S1s don't be shy! Please meet in T1.2 at 1:30 pm on Wednesday to learn more about what we do!

THE JERICHO re-opens this coming Saturday night at 7.15pm in The Bridge Centre for all 12 – 16 years olds.  We look forward to welcoming some of the new S1’s, but you must have had your 12th birthday.  This week all the usual things will be on offer – free snacks – playstation, Xbox, pool, table tennis and lots more.  At the craft table we will be making personalised key rings.  HOPE TO SEE LOTS OF YOU ON SATURDAY NIGHT.

LOVE SPORT? PASSIONATE ABOUT MAKING KNOX SPORT GREAT???... THEN WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU!!! We are looking for pupils S1-S6 that love sport and Physical Activity and are committed to making KNOX SPORT GREAT. We have 12 Sports Council places up for grabs this year for S1-S6 Pupils and 2 Young Ambassador places for S4-S6 Pupils. If you are successful you will be the pupils voice in shaping what Activities we do at School and be involved in the creation and running of all Sporting Events at school. Applications can be picked up at PE or from Mr Wands. Go Knox Sport!
