Group lists have now been posted on the back wall of the food court for all school based activities during activities week.  Please make sure you know where to register each morning and who your group leader is.

If there is anyone who is not sure what they are doing during activities week then it is very important that you see Mr Taylor today (Wednesday) or tomorrow (Thursday) at the latest.

All pupils going on the London Trip must attend a meeting on Thursday at morning interval in Mr McFarlane's room (M.11).

Attendance is essential as important information will be handed out along with your Hoodies!

There will be an Italy Meeting for our Italian Explorers on Thursday 26 May 2016 at lunchtime (1.30pm). This extended meeting will allow issue of hoodies, tee-shirts and luggage tags.

Please be aware that if you are not in school on Thursday, and fail to attend this meeting, that it may suggest that you are not well enough to participate in the Italian Residential Educational Excursion.  

For the remaining few individuals who have not yet handed in Euro spending money, please can this be arranged early next week in order that all monies can be reconciled ready for the banking arrangements while in Italy.

Attached is the RRSA Knox Academy Charter. The words are ones in which the group hopes all students will strive for. Please consider these in registration and discuss them with your class.

The Pupil Learning Team meeting scheduled to take place tomorrow Period 1 in Mr Blair's room has been postponed.

Day for change (Friday 13th)

You don't have to wear blue or something on the theme of luck, feel free to just come in your own clothes but remember to bring £1 and don't forget the government is matching your donation pound for pound!

Donations will be collected by registration teachers on Friday

Spaces are available for 4 weeks of surfing after school on Monday afternoons between now and the end of term. The first session of the block is Monday 16th (i.e. this Monday coming).

If you missed out last time or are interested in learning to surf 20 minutes from school, please see Miss Kirkwood for an information letter and a PC1 form before the end of the day on Thursday.

Pupils should NOT be using the car park at John Muir House as a shortcut. Pupils have no reason to be there and can be observed from the offices - it gives a poor impression of the school for council employees as they watch pupils scale walls and drop litter. Thank you. Mrs Ingham

If you have not already done so and wish to attend the Robert Muchamore event in June, please return your consent form to Mr Plain by end of school on Monday 9th May 2016.

B. Plain

The school will be taking part in a Day for Change on Friday 13th of May.

Right now, millions of children are in danger. They’re facing violence, disease, hunger, and the chaos of war and disaster. Together we have the power to help change that.

The day will be a non-uniform day and you are encouraged to wear blue (for UNICEF) or something based around the theme of luck (it is Friday 13th after all!)

£1 (or whatever you can give) will be collected by your registration teacher. Some of the money will go to sending unused textbooks to schools in Africa (Books to Africa) and the rest will go to UNICEF, the UK government will match your donation penny for penny.
