On Wednesday the 9th of December there will be an Inter-house Basketball Tournament from 4pm -5.30pm in the gym hall. To get involved collect a sign up sheet from the PE Department and fill it in and return ASAP to Rebecca Ainslie or Chloe Duffy (or a member of the PE department). Forms should be handed in by Monday or Tuesday at the latest.
Rules:
- minimum of 5 players on each team
- every player in the team must be from the same house, but they do not have to be in the same year

We, the XL programme, are fundraising for Save the Children and Princes Trust group every break time until Friday 9 December. We will have a table outside Mr Illingworth’s office. Staff members have agreed to fill a jar and once the jars have been filled they will be given a forfeit which they must do. The staff members who you donate the most money to have to do a forfeit. So come along and choose your “favourite” teacher.

If anyone is interested in participating in our psychological investigation into sleep (promise it’s fun…and not time consuming) then please sign up on the sheet on Miss Bulloch’s door (please write your regi class so we can get in contact with all the fun info) by the end of the day on Thursday 10 December. There will then be a meeting in Miss Bulloch’s room on Friday 11 December for all those who have signed up to give you more detail sand your resources for the investigation.

The Green Team will be meeting in Room T1.4 TODAY at 1:30pm. Lots of classes still need their recycling to be collected so the Green Team is in high demand! New and old members will be welcomed with smiles and merits!

Priority booking has now closed and tickets have been allocated. Pupils who applied for tickets will be able to collect them from the music department at their usual rehearsal time.
There are a few pupils who have paid money online but have not submitted a Priority Booking Letter. Please see Ms MacLeod with this asap.
The remaining tickets will be on sale at break and lunchtime on Monday 14th and Tuesday 15th December (the week of the concert). Tickets will not be available on the door.

Many thanks to the S6 pupils who helped at the Christmas in Haddington event on Sunday. They were involved in face painting, in the café, playing games with the younger children and with Santa’s Grotto. Huge thanks also to the pupils who sang in the choir at the Christmas Lights switch-on, accompanied by Mark Sandford and Gregor Syme on guitar.
