Pupils, parents and staff gathered at Knox Academy on Thursday 23 January 2014 to enjoy another sell-out Family Burns’ Supper.  Ably compered by Mr Swinney, (Communications Faculty Head), the evening saw contributions including traditional toasts and poems, highland dancing and futuristic animation (Tam O’Shanter in Lego), with wonderful musical interludes provided by pipers, choir and musicians.

The Address to the Haggis was delivered by Mr Illingworth (Depute Head Teacher).  Head Boy Mark Robertson’s Toast to the Lassies was most capably responded to by Head Girl Gemma Sandie, while a most thoughtful and entertaining Immortal Memory given by Head Teacher Mrs Ingham was very well received.

A great night was had by all.

Chair of KASG
