Mr Jappy, Miss McPhee, Mrs Slowther and Mrs Barber made a 3-day return visit to our partner school in the city of Karvina, Czech Republic.

Departing on Thursday 26 January, the group visited Auschwitz Birkenau concentration camp in Poland before making their way south to the city of Karvina, Czech Republic. Friday was spent visiting the mountain of Radhost, and the village of Pustevny, to experience traditional Czech mountain life. Saturday was spent visiting the city of Ostrava, before travelling north to Krakow for their flight home early on Sunday morning.

The weather was very cold during their stay, but once again received a warm welcome from their Czech hosts. A group of teachers from Karvina will be visiting the school in mid March.
