Here's a little bit about China
China is a world apart. The third largest country in the world; it offers visitors a myriad of landscapes to choose from; green paddy fields and beautiful national parks branch out to arid deserts and dizzying misty mountains. China has one of the richest cultures in the world, with dynasties steeped in tradition, turmoil and legend. Ancient Chinese culture has long been of fascination to the rest of the world as it offers completely new and distinct perspectives, beliefs.
Expedition Highlights:
- Cultural exploration of Beijing
- Great Wall of China
- Xi’an and the Terracotta Army
- Remote trekking in Sichuan province
- Participate in a local community project
