For people who are interested in leaving school to pursue a career in Land based engineering there is an exciting course starting in August 2018 at SRUC Oatridge Campus: Engineering.
Course Details:
· The course runs for the full academic year, 3 days per week; 9.00am-4.30pm.
· No entry requirements;
· A good taste of Land-based tractors and machinery, i.e. Agricultural and Groundcare tractors and equipment;
· Welding and fabrication.
· Core skills units that they may not have achieved at school;
· Course fully funded;
· Accommodation.
· Opportunity to transfer onto the NC Agricultural Engineering Course the following year.
There is an opportunity to go along to the campus and experience a ride on an award winning state of the art Agricultural Tractor. You will see the activities they would do on the Land-based Engineering: An Introduction course.
Interviews would be held on Wednesday afternoons, 3.00pm-4.30pm.
