This has been the week of Study Skills for S5/6 pupils. All senior pupils have been given general and subject specific materials to help them with revision and studying. The skills covered should be of great use for class work, assessments and the prelims.

A trip to the theatre on Wednesday evening to see 'Beauty and the Beast' was a great success and the junior pupils were a credit to the school. Continuing on the drama theme, the school's production of 'The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe' has been cast. Pupils from all year groups and many staff are involved in the production that will be a lovely pre-Christmas treat for all.

Congratulations to the 5 pupils who have reached 125 points in the Pupil Points System, their Bronze Award certificates are the first to be issued this session, and I look forward to signing many more over the coming months.

Best wishes (and good luck) to the S6 pupils and staff who leave today for the Staff/Pupils Weekend. This is now a well-established tradition and I look forward to hearing about another successful trip.
