Storm Ali certainly ruffled a few feathers here this week – and I don’t just mean our feathered friends who inhabit the surrounding trees. The old adage that high winds affect children and animals is true and especially for young people who are often at the mercy of their sensory perceptions. The wind howled through the trees with such ferocity that it was only correct that we heeded the warnings and kept our young people safe indoors.
