Due to high winds, additional inspections were conducted by FES on the East Lothian secondary school estate. These inspections identified an issue with the block work at Knox Academy. As a precaution, the area was cordoned off and structural engineers are attending to advise remedial work.

All processes are in place to address this matter promptly. It is anticipated, at this time, that the school will open as normal tomorrow (Friday 15 June 2018).
