Don't miss our 12 Days of Christmas (2018) sing-a-long which is also now available - this is traditional on our last day of term before the Christmas Holidays.
We would like to wish all staff and pupils a relaxing Christmas Break when school finishes on Thursday 20 December 2018 at 3.50 pm. Everybody will be looking forward to the Annual S6 Pantomime and Ceilidh Dancing on the last day of term.
School reopens for all staff and pupils on Monday 7 January 2019 at 8.44 am.

The Class of 2017 will be extremely pleased to hear that the Yearbooks have now arrived. If you fully paid for a copy, this is now available to collect from the school. A signature will be required on collection.

Course Choice Booklet 2019-20 for S3 pupils who are moving into S4 in August 2019 is now available
Course Choice Booklets for S2 pupils moving into S3, S4 pupils moving into S5 and S5 pupils moving into S6 in August 2019 will be available shortly.
A letter has been issued at registration this morning to pupils in S2-S5 detailing the arrangements for Coursing for Session 2019-2020.

Happy Christmas Jumper day!
All young people and staff in Meadowpark wore Christmas jumpers/suits/outfits today and we are fund-raising for Save the Children. It might not be much but every little helps and we are proud to raise money for such a good cause.
Forth class presented an excellent Assembly this morning providing information on WW1 which has been the focus for their IDL project. The class have made trenches, explored what life was really like and one pupil participated in wider achievement by representing their Army Corps on 11th November in East Lothian and in Edinburgh. The Skills for Work programme is for parents/carers considering taking a supportive step back into education, especially if considering a career in Early Years or Health & Social Care.

Last week Tyne class enthralled us with knowledge and experience gained from studying The Picts and reminded us of the values of community and respect. This week Esk class have demonstrated their enthusiasm, knowledge and understanding of Viking life. Interestingly there are a large number of words created in the Viking tongue that we still use today – and the ones that caught my attention are Whirl, Glitter, Freckles and Beserk which is how I think the next two weeks will pass!
