Pupils must now have their Young Scot card to borrow and reserve library materials. This is in line with East Lothian Libraries policy.

Pupils who have lost or have a damaged Young Scot card should see Mr Plain as soon as possible, where other arrangements can be made.

The School Council met at the beginning of December with plenty of progress being made throughout the month.

We discussed the possibility of having various radio shows being played throughout lunchtimes. It was mentioned that we should cover a range of different stations so as to incorporate a wider range of musical genres. It was brought up that whilst most prefects are fulfilling there duties to an excellent standard, there are a few who are consistently forgetting to carry their duties out. We also went on to talk about Religious Assemblies and the desire to invite speakers from all different faiths.

We consulted the results of the Dress Code Survey, with a new dress code being introduced at the beginning of term in January (click here for details). S5 House Captain Finlay Munro put alot of time and effort into the survey and the council are very appreciative of this.

In February the School Council will host an assembly which will document the changes and proposed changes that we are making to the School.
